From September 25 to 27, in the warm atmosphere of the sixth "926 Craftsman Day", a high-profile skills event - 2024 Zhejiang Province Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology Application Vocational skills Competition was held in Xinchang. The competition was sponsored by Zhejiang Federation of Trade Unions and co-sponsored by Shaoxing Federation of Trade Unions, Xinchang County Federation of Trade Unions, Xinchang County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Xinchang Technician College. This competition has set up two types of industrial robot system operation and maintenance staff and industrial robot system operators, taking a combination of theoretical examination and practical operation, focusing on the contestants' theoretical knowledge level, practical operation skills, and comprehensive skills combining theory and practice. More than 60 competitors from 10 teams from all regions of the province gathered together to compete on the same stage.
XCC attaches great importance to the competition, and selected Shen Gang, the chief electrical engineer of the group, and Liang Mingyuan, director of the wheel workshop of the auto parts branch factory, to represent the company. In the end, Shen Gang won the first prize of the robot system operation and maintenance officer of the 2024 Zhejiang Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology Application Vocational Skills Competition with excellent performance, and Liang Mingyuan also won the robot system operation and maintenance officer award of the competition with his own strength. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Zhejiang Provincial Staff Vocational Skills Competition Management Measures", Shenyang Steel was granted the title of "Zhejiang Gold Blue Collar" after the approval of the provincial Federation of Trade unions.
